Due to shoaling conditions reflected in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's March 2014 survey of the Aransas Channel from the jetty entrance to the east end of the channel, the Aransas Corpus Christi Pilots are restricting vessels to a maximum draft of 44 feet salt water effective immediately.
