.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...WEAK OFFSHORE FLOW
WILL PERSIST THIS AFTERNOON AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES WELL OFFSHORE. A
WEAK ONSHORE FLOW WILL DEVELOP TONIGHT AS A SURFACE HIGH BRIEFLY
BUILDS INTO SOUTH TEXAS. AN APPROACHING DISTURBANCE WILL GENERATE AN
AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE WESTERN GULF ON WEDNESDAY. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIKELY OVER THE WATERS BY AFTERNOON. THE LOW
WILL MOVE TO THE EAST ON THURSDAY WITH MODERATE NORTHEASTERLY FLOW
EXPECTED. HIGH PRESSURE WILL SETTLE IN OVER THE AREA BY THE END OF
THE WEEK.
