**TX - La Quinta Channel - Dredging

The Dredge Leonard M Fisher will be dredging at the Kiewit Dock in La
Quinta Channel TX in the area of light 12, from 1/8/08 through 4/1/08.
Floating and submerged dredge pipelines will extend behind the dredge on
ether side of the channel to the placement area. A pontoon line will
cross the La Quinta Channel. Dredge tenders and anchor barges will also
be working with the Dredge. Dredging will be performed 24 hours a day 7
days a week. The Dredge Leonard M Fisher can be contacted on channel 12
or 79 VHF FM or by calling 361-920-6700. 30 Minutes notice is required to
open the channel. Mariners are urged to transit the area of dredging
operations at their slowest speed to minimize wake. Proceed with caution
after making passing agreement with the Dredge.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW AND LARGE SEAS WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE TODAY AS
HIGH PRESSURE PUSHES INTO CENTRAL TEXAS. THIS WEAKENING TREND
WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT AS THE HIGH PRESSURE SLIDES EASTWARD INTO
EAST TEXAS. A WEAK TO MODERATE ONSHORE FLOW WILL GRADUALLY
DEVELOP BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON. WEAK TO MODERATE ONSHORE FLOW WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE MOVES EAST OF
THE WATERS...AND AS SURFACE LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS TO THE WEST. A
COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE WATERS SUNDAY AND PRODUCE
