.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...A TROUGH OF LOW
PRESSURE NEAR THE COAST WILL PROVIDE SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS
AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH FRIDAY. THE TROUGH AND SHOWERS
IN THE AREA WILL PROVIDE VARYING WIND DIRECTIONS...BUT A GENERAL
LIGHT TO MODERATE ONSHORE FLOW IS EXPECTED THROUGH FRIDAY. SHOWER
ACTIVITY WILL DECREASE OVER THE WEEKEND AND THE TROUGH WASHES OUT
AND HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO SOUTH TEXAS. LIGHT TO MODERATE
ONSHORE WINDS WILL PERSIST AS AN ATLANTIC HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE
EXTENDS WEST ACROSS THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO.
