COASTAL WATERS FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CORPUS CHRISTI TX
423 AM CDT WED JUN 29 2011

MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS FROM BAFFIN BAY TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL
OUT TO 60 NAUTICAL MILES.

GMZ200-292200-
423 AM CDT WED JUN 29 2011

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
TROPICAL STORM ARLENE...LOCATED OVER THE BAY OF CAMPECHE...WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST TODAY AND TONIGHT.
MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL STEADILY INCREASE
ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. THIS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO INCREASING
COVERAGE OF TROPICAL SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH
THE END OF THE WEEK. WIND AND ESPECIALLY SEAS WILL INCREASE IN
RESPONSE TO THIS SYSTEM. THE CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE DURING THE WEEKEND. MARINERS SHOULD
CONTINUE TO MONITOR LATEST OUTLOOKS AND FORECASTS PROVIDED BY THE
NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER AND YOUR LOCAL NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
OFFICE REGARDING ARLENE AND ITS POTENTIAL IMPACTS ON WIND AND
SEAS IN THE GULF WATERS.
