MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS FROM BAFFIN BAY TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL
OUT TO 60 NAUTICAL MILES.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
AREAS OF DENSE SEA FOG WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE MIDDLE TEXAS
COASTAL WATERS THIS MORNING AS SOUTHERLY WINDS CONTINUE TO
TRANSPORT A VERY MOIST AIRMASS ACROSS THE COOLER WATERS. THE SEA
FOG MAY LINGER THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAY AND PERSIST THROUGH THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THE FRONT
WILL RAPIDLY MOVE THROUGH THE REGION FRIDAY MORNING...BRINGING A
SLIGHT CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AND PUTTING AN END TO
THE FOGGY CONDITIONS. IN WAKE OF THE FRONTAL PASSAGE...STRONG TO
VERY STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP AND CAUSE RAPIDLY
BUILDING SEAS THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. RAIN CHANCES WILL CONTINUE
BEHIND THE FRONT FRIDAY NIGHT AND INTO SATURDAY...AS AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE IMPACTS THE WATERS. THIS DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE
EAST OF THE WATERS BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON. ONSHORE FLOW WILL
RESUME BY SUNDAY MORNING...AND CONTINUE ON MONDAY...AS THE
SURFACE HIGH MOVES INTO THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO...AND LOW
PRESSURE DEVELOPS OVER THE GREAT PLAINS.
