A STRONG UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL APPROACH TEXAS FROM THE
WEST TODAY. IN RESPONSE...A WARM FRONT OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO
WILL MOVE NORTH OF THE COAST THIS AFTERNOON...FOLLOWED BY A STEADY
INCREASE IN ONSHORE FLOW. IN ADDITION...MOISTURE WILL INCREASE
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT AND CONTRIBUTE TO SEA FOG OVER THE BAYS
AND NEARSHORE WATERS. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
DEVELOP TODAY. AS THE UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM MOVES ACROSS THE
REGION...A COLD FRONT ACROSS SOUTH TEXAS EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.
A MODERATE TO STRONG SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST FLOW CAN BE EXPECTED AHEAD
OF THIS FRONT. STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE EARLY
WEDNESDAY OVER THE COASTAL WATERS AS THE FRONT PUSHES THROUGH THE
REGION. RAIN CHANCES WILL THEN DIMINISH FROM WEST TO EAST
