.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A MODERATE TO STRONG NORTHERLY FLOW THIS MORNING WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN AND BECOME MORE EASTERLY THROUGH THE DAY. AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN WILL END FROM WEST TO EAST TODAY AS AN UPPER LEVEL WEATHER DISTURBANCE AND COASTAL TROUGH BOTH SHIFT AWAY FROM THE AREA. A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH SOUTH ACROSS AREA WATERS LATE TONIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING WITH A MODERATE TO PERHAPS STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW OCCURRING IN ITS WAKE. THE FLOW WILL WEAKEN FRIDAY MORNING THEN BECOME ONSHORE FRIDAY NIGHT AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE MOVES EAST. WEAK TO MODERATE ONSHORE FLOW WILL PERSIST SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AS SURFACE LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS.
