.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A COLD FRONT WHICH PUSHED THROUGH SOUTH TEXAS SUNDAY NIGHT WILL CONTINUE TO BRING STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW IN ITS WAKE TODAY. THIS WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE IN WAVE HEIGHTS AS WELL. WINDS AND SEAS WILL BEGIN TO DIMINISH LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT AS HIGH
PRESSURE BEGINS TO BUILD INTO NORTH TEXAS. AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN ARE ALSO EXPECTED TODAY AND TONIGHT...AS A WEAK COASTAL TROUGH PROVIDES LIFT ALONG THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY. A WEAK TO MODERATE OFFSHORE FLOW IS EXPECTED ON TUESDAY...AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES INTO
NORTHEAST TEXAS. REINFORCING HIGH PRESSURE IS EXPECTED EARLY WEDNESDAY WHICH WILL RESULT IN A MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY STRONG NORTHERLY FLOW. A CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL CONTINUE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY...THEN TAPERING OFF THROUGH WEDNESDAY
NIGHT. WINDS WILL RELAX WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY...THEN ANOTHER REINFORCING SURGE OF HIGH PRESSURE IS EXPECTED THURSDAY NIGHT WITH A MODERATE OFFSHORE FLOW DEVELOPING IN ITS WAKE.
