SEAS ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG WITH OCCASIONAL HEIGHT OF THE AVERAGE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPED OVER THE NORTHWESTERN GULF OF MEXICO IN RESPONSE TO AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE. THE RESULTANT INCREASE IN THE SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL MAINTAIN MODERATE TO STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW OVER THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH
EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE BY LATE AFTERNOON AS THE SURFACE LOW AND UPPER SYSTEM MOVE EAST. ANOTHER FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL MOVE INTO THE WATERS ON THURSDAY...RESULTING IN A WEAK TO MODERATE NORTHERLY FLOW. NO RAINFALL IS EXPECTED WITH THE
FRONTAL BOUNDARY...WITH THE COOLER AIR LAGGING BEHIND THE WIND SHIFT. OFFSHORE FLOW WILL BECOME MODERATE TO STRONG THURSDAY NIGHT. RAIN CHANCES RETURN FRIDAY AND WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND. ONSHORE FLOW WILL RESUME ON FRIDAY EVENING...WITH A
MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY STRONG ONSHORE FLOW EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY.
