COASTAL WATERS FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CORPUS CHRISTI TX
402 PM CDT WED SEP 23 2015

MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS FROM BAFFIN BAY TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT TO 60 NAUTICAL MILES.

SEAS ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG WITH OCCASIONAL HEIGHT OF THE AVERAGE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES.

GMZ200-241015-
402 PM CDT WED SEP 23 2015

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
THE COMBINATION OF A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE SOUTHWESTERN GULF OF MEXICO AND HIGHER SURFACE PRESSURE TO THE NORTH WILL CONTRIBUTE TO WEAK TO MODERATE ONSHORE FLOW TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT. INCREASING MOISTURE WILL COMBINE WITH A
WEAK UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE TO INCREASE THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS OVER THE COASTAL WATERS THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND THURSDAY NIGHT. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE LATE THIS WEEK AND OVER THE UPCOMING WEEKEND AS AN UPPER LEVEL WEATHER
DISTURBANCE AFFECTS THE AREA. A WEAK TO MODERATE NORTHEAST FLOW WILL PERSIST WITH SLOWLY BUILDING SEAS.
