ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TODAY FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE OFFSHORE WATERS. PATCHY TO AREAS OF FOG WILL ALSO REMAIN POSSIBLE ALONG THE BAYS AND WATERWAYS...AS WELL AS THE
NEARSHORE WATERS TODAY AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THE FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE THROUGH THE MID TO LATE MORNING TODAY...WITH STRONG NORTHERLY FLOW IN ITS WAKE. SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES ARE ALREADY IN EFFECT. A SECOND SURGE OF HIGH PRESSURE
WILL OCCUR THIS EVENING...WITH WINDS INCREASING WITH FREQUENT GUSTS TO NEAR GALE FORCE. AS A RESULT...A GALE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE GULF WATERS THIS LATE AFTERNOON THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW AND HAZARDOUS SEAS WILL
