.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE NEARSHORE WATERS AND BAYS OF THE MIDDLE TEXAS COAST. AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL DEVELOP ONCE AGAIN THIS EVENING AS A WEAK ONSHORE FLOW CONTINUES TO BRING WARM MOIST AIR OVER THE COOL SHELF WATERS. THE DENSE FOG SHOULD
REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THE STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE WATERS THURSDAY MORNING...BRINGING MUCH DRIER AIR AND STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW. THIS WILL DISSIPATE THE FOG...BUT GUSTS IN EXCESS OF GALE
FORCE ARE EXPECTED TO THEN DEVELOP OVER THE GULF WATERS IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE ALSO EXPECTED NEAR AND ALONG THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY ON THURSDAY MORNING. OFFSHORE FLOW AND SEAS WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE BY FRIDAY. A RAPID TRANSITION TO ONSHORE FLOW IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR BY FRIDAY NIGHT. RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY AS ONSHORE FLOW INCREASES. ONSHORE FLOW AND SEAS WILL AGAIN SLOWLY SUBSIDE BY SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
