.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
Scattered to numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue this morning then decrease through this afternoon as drier air filters across the area. Moderate to strong offshore flow this morning will diminish slightly this afternoon, but should strengthen again late tonight as a second surge of high
pressure builds into the region. Offshore flow will slowly diminish on Wednesday. Surface high pressure will move east late Thursday, bringing a return to onshore flow and increased moisture. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible on Friday and Saturday as adequate moisture moves into the area given the moderate onshore flow. A weak to moderate south wind on Saturday will shift to the north on Sunday as a cold front moves through the region. This frontal boundary is not expected to bring any rainfall as it moves across the waters.
