.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Moderate to strong northeast flow will diminish later today, as a surface ridge of high pressure moves into the Southern Plains and weakens the pressure gradient. Upper level high pressure will bring drier air to the area. The surface high will move east tonight and Wednesday, resulting in a weak to moderate onshore flow. Onshore flow will increase Thursday into Friday ahead of another cold front that will move through Friday night into Saturday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible along the front Friday Night into Saturday. Moderate to strong offshore flow will develop in the wake of the front Saturday and Saturday Night.
