Notice:
The attached MSIB announces the changes to the waterway closures in the Matagorda Bay.  Please disseminate to the industry.

1.  Matagorda Ship Channel is open to all traffic
2.  The GIWW closure has been modified.  The GIWW is only closed from the Port O'Connor Little Jetties to the Matagorda Ship Channel.
3.  A 550 yard safety zone has been established around the dive operations.


.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A weak to moderate onshore flow will develop this morning, strengthening this afternoon. Southeast to southerly flow will increase to moderate to strong levels tonight into Tuesday as surface low pressure deepens over the Southern Plains. Advisory
conditions will be possible late tonight into Tuesday.  Onshore winds are expected to relax by Wednesday and Thursday.  Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible Thursday and Friday.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
Moderate to strong easterly flow will prevail today with conditions with winds near Small Craft Advisory conditions possible at times. A warm front will shift north across the area tonight resulting in a more southeasterly wind direction to develop by late tonight and Saturday...with speeds still remaining
moderate to strong. A few showers may occur late tonight and on Saturday. A cold front will move through the Middle Texas Coastal Waters late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Moderate northerly winds will occur behind the front but then weaken on Monday.  Onshore flow will resume Tuesday into Tuesday night.
