.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
Strong offshore flow will persist across the Middle Texas Coastal Waters today. Elevated seas will also persist across the region over the next several days. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect today through early Wednesday morning, with extended advisories possible during the mid week. Showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to be likely this morning, with additional rain possible this afternoon through Wednesday. A moderate to strong north to northeast flow will persist over the coastal waters Wednesday through Thursday due to a coastal trough and surface high pressure to the north. Rain and showers will continue. An easterly flow will develop on Friday, before another cold front moves into the gulf waters this weekend. A moderate to strong offshore flow will develop in the wake of the cold front. Adequate moisture will result in at least a chance for showers through the weekend.
