.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
Weak to occasionally moderate north wind this morning will weaken further through the day as surface high pressure settles in across the area. Winds will shift to the east and then southeast on Tuesday as surface high pressure moves east of the region. Onshore flow and seas will gradually increase Tuesday night through Wednesday night. Light showers will be possible on Wednesday and Thursday due to the increasing moisture ahead of an approaching cold front. The cold front will move through the coastal waters by noon Thursday. Gale conditions will be possible across the nearshore and offshore waters due to the very strong offshore flow that will develop behind this front. Large seas will also build through Friday morning. Offshore flow and seas will slowly subside by Friday afternoon and Friday night as the pressure gradient slowly weakens.
