.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

A cold front has pushed through the waters, bringing showers and thunderstorms and some Small Craft Exercise Caution conditions. Moderate to strong northerly flow will develop across the Gulf Waters this afternoon resulting in Small Craft Advisory conditions through this evening. Northerly winds are expected to diminish overnight and return too weak to moderate levels on Thursday. An upper level disturbance and a developing surface low pressure system will contribute to scattered showers and thunderstorms Thursday night and Friday. Northeast flow will decrease Thursday night and Friday. Drier Friday night and Saturday, as weak to  moderate onshore flow develops. An upper level disturbance  approaching from the west, and increasing moisture, will increase the chance for showers and thunderstorms Sunday. This disturbance, along with an approaching cold front, will contribute to  scattered showers and thunderstorms Sunday night. Moderate onshore flow expected in advance of the front.
