.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS... A weak to moderate onshore flow is expected to continue through tonight as a cold front slowly approaches the region. The cold front will move off the coast Wednesday with a moderate northeast wind developing in its wake. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are possible Tonight through Wednesday as an upper disturbance moves over the area. Rain chances will decrease Wednesday night through Thursday. Weak to moderate northeast flow will develop after frontal passage Wednesday, and continue through Friday. Onshore flow and increasing moisture beginning Friday night will combine with an upper level disturbance to generate isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday.
