Closures:The Nansen Spar Hull is scheduled to be towed from Gulf Marine
Fabricators in Ingleside, Tx to the offshore installation location on
TUESDAY, Sept. 25th. This towout will be a total channel blockage from
0600 hrs 9/25/01 to 1800 hrs 9/25/01.

Port of Point Comfort Closure:

Coast Guard
advisories: The Captain of the Port Corpus Christi has established the
following safety measures to be taken by vessels transiting the COTP
Corpus Christi zone:

**Ships and barges carrying the following hazardous cargoes shall provide
continuous roving topside patrols while moored. These cargoes include:
Grade (A) and (B) cargoes
Ammonium Nitrate (solid)
Liquified Natural Gas (LNG)
Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG)
Chlorine
Anhydrous Ammonia
Ethylamine
Methylamine
Vinyl Chloride Monomer
Hydrogen Fluoride
Hydrogen Peroxide (if concentrated)

It is recommended that arrival notices for vessels carrying the above
cargoes be provided 72 hrs in advance to avoid unnecessary delays.
