430 AM CDT MON JUL 8 2002

.THE TROPICAL WAVE OVER THE CENTRAL GULF OF MEXICO WILL CONTINUE TO
SLOWLY MOVE WEST DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO
MOVE INLAND ALONG THE LOWER TEXAS/NORTHEAST MEXICAN COAST BY
TUESDAY. WINDS...SEAS AND THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BEGIN TO SLOWLY INCREASE AS THE SYSTEM MOVES WEST...ESPECIALLY
TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY. ALL MARINE INTERESTS IN THE NORTHWEST GULF AND
ADJACENT BAYS SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR THIS TROPICAL WAVE. DRIER
