430 AM CDT MON SEP 9 2002

.FAY WILL CONTINUE TO ROTATE ACROSS THE RIO GRANDE PLAINS THROUGH
TOMORROW. THE COASTAL WATERS WILL PERIODICALLY EXPERIENCE
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AS A RESULT.
BY WEDNESDAY THOUGH...THE WATERS WILL BEGIN TO DRY OUT AS DRIER AIR
SURGES SOUTH. DRY CONDITIONS WILL THEN PREVAIL FOR THE REMAINDER OF
THE FORECAST. MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY STRONG ONSHORE FLOW WILL
BECOME MORE NORTHEAST WITH TIME AS HIGH PRESSURE SINKS SOUTH AND AS
LOW PRESSURE PERSISTS ACROSS THE CENTRAL GULF.
