FOUR TIMES A DAY. BOATERS ON EXTENDED TRIPS SHOULD ROUTINELY MONITOR
SUBSEQUENT FORECAST ISSUANCES AND UPDATES FOR THE LATEST MARINE

SYNOPSIS FOR BAFFIN BAY TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM-
430 AM CDT WED SEP 25 2002

.BASED ON THE LATEST TROPICAL CYCLONE FORECAST...TROPICAL STORM
ISIDORE WAS LOCATED ABOUT 335 MILES SOUTH OF THE LOUISIANA COAST...
AND WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE TOWARD THE LOUISIANA COAST. LANDFALL IS
EXPECTED EARLY THURSDAY MORNING IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. BASED ON THIS
TRACK...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN TO THE EAST OF THE
MIDDLE TEXAS COAST. HOWEVER...A STRONG PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL PERSIST
OVER THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH THURSDAY...RESULTING IN STRONG
OFFSHORE WINDS. ALL MARINE INTERESTS IN THE NORTHWEST GULF AND
ADJACENT WATERS SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF ISIDORE. WINDS
AND SEAS WILL BEGIN TO SUBSIDE ON THURSDAY AS ISIDORE MAKES
LANDFALL...WITH WEAK TO MODERATE WINDS EXPECTED OVER THE WEEKEND.
