Closures: During the sensitive load out of the Devil's Tower
production platform, Gulf Marine is requesting a deep draft only,
restriction of the Corpus Christi ship channel from 0700-1900 on 6 of
November. While deep draft vessels create too large a fluctuation in
water level with suction and subsequent surge, all other vessel wakes are
of minimal enough impact that no restriction of barges, offshore supply
boats or recreational traffic is needed during the load out.
